Hi,
Has anyone any tips for measuring half a pump of gel? I'm trying reducing down to one and a half pumps but it seems a bit hit and miss! One pump appears to be a quarter of a teaspoon on my measuring spoons. Any bright ideas?
Thanks ladies x

Hi
I use precision scales (usually used to weigh gold or silver) to measure my gel.
I get a small glass container put it on the scales then turn it on. I then measure out each pump.
They’re very cheap, under £5 from Amazon.
Hope this helps

I agree with Meno-44. When I was on Oestrogel I used precision scales - its the only way to get it totally accurate I felt xx

Someone has done it by putting something round the plunger so it can only depress half way.

I have used half a pump for years, I just dont push it all the way down, of course its not the most accurate way to do things but it seems to do the trick.

I use a pen or pencil to pop a mark on the pump at the half way point, so when I press the pump at stop at the mark.
Obviously scales will give you an accurate marker.
Best wishes

I've started using the cap to apply.. I pump one full pump on top of it and then try to get the half a pump alongside so I can guage when it's almost half the size of the full pump. I then apply to both arms using the cap, not too concerned about whether it's evenly distributed
