Morning all
I have recently been put in continuous HRT (2 x Estrogel and 1 x utrogestan vaginally).
Previously I was on cyclical and still used utrogestan vaginally.
However, for the last three nights I’ve been waking at 1am with chronic pains (wind pains) and I have to get up and go for a poo (not diarrhoea but it is difficult to open bowels).
I’m therefore wondering if this is to do with taking utrogestan continuously vaginally.
Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Morning. It may well be the utrogestan, is there anything in the leaflet in the box with suggestions? Not nice!

Hey boing boing I know this is an old post but did this ever settle?
I was switched from cyclical to continuous (but I have a mirena) and I have the same. Gas pains and cramps then need to have a poop then feel better.
It’s disturbing my sleep, it’s always around 4am whcih is annoying as just late enough for my body to assume it’s morning.
