Title: Varying oestrogen dose throughout cycle
Post by: Toughtimes on February 25, 2023, 06:35:17 PM
Just hoping to ask if many people adjust their oestrogen dose throughout the month depending on where they are in their cycle. I find that I need 75mcg oestrogen when taking progesterone to minimise side effects of progesterone but on non progesterone days, 75mcg dose of oestrogen feels too high and 50mcg works better and gives less oestrogen side effects.

I haven’t done this personally to any great degree but it l agree it makes a lot of sense.

There is an American program, which I believe is called the Wyle Protocol, where this is acknowledged and dosages are adjusted in this way throughout the cycle.

Unfortunately the majority of us have to work these things out for ourselves and find a routine that works best for us as individuals.

If it’s working, keep going with it!  8)
