Hi all. Back history of endometrial hyperplasia caused by too much oestrogen but at menopause clinic today I was advised levels were 160. Progesterone low (didn't write it down) and testosterone 1.0. They still won't allow oestrogen until I have another biopsy but have agreed to vagifem. Is the oestrogen level very low? Last 2 periods 3 months apart and very light. Main symptoms fatigue joint aches and zero libido. Thanks!

Hi _ I am post meno and had full hysterectomy so on oestrogen only HRT. I was told by Meno Consultant that they like blood levels of oestrogen to be between 150 and 240 pmol but I guess it also depends on how you are feeling and the symptoms you are getting as to what level is best for you. I think she was stating the levels they advocate for bone health. xx

Thanks Pippa. Aches pains and fatigue are by far the worst. I'm supplementing currently including vit d until they decide I can start.
