Title: Evorel conti
Post by: LCB on February 24, 2023, 11:25:30 AM
I have had to change to a patch from oral hrt (which worked well) in the last couple of months due to upcoming surgery.
I started with one evorel conti patch but increased to one and a half patches, however I was still having knee and back pain.
I have since increased to two patches which have now relieved my symptoms.
Has anyone else has to increase to two patches?

I think if you need two patches to relieve your symptoms, you may be better off with a separate oestrogen and progesterone? Evorel conti only goes up to 50 i think?

I will do so after my op.
I have bought quite a few evorel 50 which need using up and I can't use oral hrt again till after the surgery.
I'm not sure why they don't make an evorel conti 100 patch which would be much better for me

It might be worth comparing the doses so you have a rough idea of how much should be enough (though it's possible you don't absorb very well transdermally).
