Hi everyone
Is anyone using Tostran (testosterone gel)
I've just been prescribed this and wondering how people get on with it??
Pros?
Cons?
Thanks

Hi! MayB put the product name into the search box to see what pops up?

Hi LS Smarty - there is a long running thread in Private Lives called "Testosterone here we go" I started when I first started T in 2015. Not sure what's been posted there recently but will have a look in a minute, As CLKD suggests go to the home page of the forum and do a search - there are lots of posts about T.
Tostran is more concentrated than the other formulations of T so need to be careful with the size of "blob" you apply. Presumably you have been advised to apply a pea-sized blob two or three times a week? Just make sure the doc has not recommended a silly amount - sometimes they get it wrong, though not if you've been prescribed by a meno specialist...
Hope it works for you :)

The female dosage of Tostran is three pumps per week, according to the ChelWest prescribing guide.

My prescription is for 1 pump every other day. Many pros, the only con is that the hair at the application site will be longer, thicker and blacker so I now use it on the sole of my foot on the soft skin under the arch. It seems to work just as well there.
