Hello. I posted last month about coming off HRT after only 2 weeks and a heavy bleed immediately happened this stopped after 7 days and I thought that was that. But no it’s now started again last Sunday nowhere near as heavy just spotting in fact. But I’m getting really concerned now. Because I only took 2 weeks so surely it isn’t still in my system? Before this I hadn’t had a period for approx 19 months.

It could be that HRT has triggered your hormone levels, kick starting the ovaries to respond.
How do U feel overall?
-
I feel ok just frustrated with it. I just thought only taking a couple of weeks wouldn’t disrupt my body for this long. Is that possible?

With peri-menopause anything is possible ::).
Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to chart progress, I may have mentioned this :-\
How do you feel overall and how is your diet?

As you hadn't had a period for 19 months before taking HRT and you've already had the withdrawal bleed when you stopped it I would recommend that you have a word with your GP to rule out anything else.

I see what you’re saying Taz and that’s my concern but I was fine till I took this hrt. It’s very coincidental that it has come after I’ve took it for 2 weeks and never before that. Isn’t it?

Following the advice that Taz has given, I would have a word with the Nurse Practitioner to see if a scan of your womb might be required, to see how thick the lining might be.
Hormones can be dipsy ::), it doesn't take much to trigger changes. Let us know how you get on?
