Hi I stopped my hrt about 12 weeks ago and felt great but my symptoms have all come back all of a sudden. It’s been a couple of days since my last period finished and I’m now itching, feeling low, dry skin and nails, brain fog, tearful and just the feeling of panic. Oh and add on being unable to sleep.
I don’t know what to do.

Hi. This is common and happened to me by the three month mark. Do you mind me asking why you stopped the HRT?

I’m not really sure why I stopped I think I was fed up with feeling sick and dizzy the 2 weeks I had to take the progesterone and then my sister saying don’t take it.
I don’t know what to do now

You could restart the HRT and if you still feel sick and dizzy then you could try a different progesterone. How long have you been on HRT and which one were you on?

I was in it for just over 2 years well various combinations. The last I was on was Sandrena 1.5mg gel sachets and then progesterone tablets.

Is it utrogestan? If so have you tried using it vaginally which might not affect you so much nausea wise. Also, are you on any other medication which could cause side effects? It's such a difficult balancing act so I understand your frustration. I'm not sure how old you are.
