Hi, Has anyone else been prescribed Utrogestan 100 to take one every day with no break? I have a womb & regular periods & was on Femoston for two years. Started to get symptoms again so three months ago GP changed prescription to one pump of gel oestrogen & one Utrogestan 100 each day - no break. Does this sound right?
I ask because everything I read says it’s taken for half the month… confused!

This is used if you're meno (one year without a bleed though if you're on hrt you can't tell). If you still have a cycle of your own you should use a sequi regime, 200mg x 12 days (days 15-26).

Hi,
My GP put me on daily Oestrogel and 200 mg Utrogestan 14 days (Day 15-28) when I was still having periods at age 53 and to move to the 100mg Utrogestan daily (with no break) once I had been on HRT for 12 months at age 54.
If you're not sure I'd go back to GP and check if it's right for you at your stage of the menopause/age.
