Hi all
So i've had my prescription of HRT (Utrogestan plus an Estradiol patch) since the middle of November and i haven't started it yet! My period came yesterday so i could get on it today with the patch. I was so keen to get it and went through the rigmarole but here i am, boxes still in the bag. The first excuse i had was if it made me more crazy then i didn't want Christmas to be awful!!! I also had a freak out over breast cancer (dunted my boob, got a bruise, convinced myself it was cancer etc etc etc) and so that put me off. I said i would take it when i next started a perio and then, because the universe is laughing at me, my period didn't come for 40 days! So now i'm here!!!!!! I think i need a talking too - lol. I am just a bit scared. Anyone fancy helping me out with some wisdom or a row????
TQ

GET on with IT :kick: is that enough?
I used to hold The Pill - so, so tiny ::) - in my hand for hours in case it made me choke. Then I took it without problems for 11 years ::)
What's the worst that could happen?

I am sure you will try it but of course it has to be when you feel comfortable to start. I have been on HRT for over 25 years and can't imagine life without it. When you get on the right level dose and the right one for you I think you will be amazed how you existed without it. Very best of luck but honestly ....its so worth starting xx

My advice would be to go for it 👍🏻. Do it now 👍🏻. Yes! You have nothing to lose and much to gain. My hrt was abruptly taken from me today, so if you don’t want it, pass it my way! ;D

Hi Pippa, I was in for a review and my appointment had been passed onto a locum doctor. He took my blood pressure, said it was high and refused to give me more patches :(
