It may B too much 2 soon! How about every 3rd day ........ to ease your body into the different levels of HRT?
Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use too.

Every 3rd day for which? Sorry brain fog lol or do you mean just keep it as oringinal dose and see how it goes?

Hi! How often do you take the mini pills? It can take 3-4 months B4 the body adjusts, however, too much replacement too soon may give symptoms.

She said to take them every day continually

Hopefully some1 will be along with better advice, personally I would alternate the daily intake to see if I feltl any better. With medication it can depend on how long it takes for it to get through the body. [clear as mud ? ]

Hi are you post or peri menopausal?
I would suggest increasing the oestrogen.

Peri not had many periods in the last year so nearly there!
Yes upped oestrogen today so first day on increase

Periods can wax and wane which may impact on HRT. Mine disappeared for months, the returned on a regular basis, for several years. Then suddenly in 2002 I realised that I hadn't had a bleed ::)
Let us know how you get on!

How long until your review? You are meant to give it three months to settle after each dose change, if I were you I would persist a bit longer with the original dose.
I got terrible headache for a week when I started HRT, they did go away once I was more used to it.
Good luck!

Peri-menopause are the years leading up to the final monthly period. It is suggested that we count from month 1 after we stop bleeding regularly, after 12-14 months we can think that we are in menopause = literally the last bleed. However, Nature can throw in a curved ball so we have to begin counting from 1. Again ::)

Hi which mini pill are you taking ? x
-
Doestrogel used to take cerazette months ago but. Now you get different generic ones instead
-
that is one of the mini pills that the BMS advises can be taken for hrt purposes. It's on page 7 of this document.
https://thebms.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/14-BMS-TfC-Progestogens-and-endometrial-protection-01H.pdf
However, it might be too much progesterone for you, or it may be that you haven't got enough oestrogen.

Yes it’s classed as off licence I think she said and could be it’s just horrible when I’ve been feeling so good xx

Well it’s middle of the night and I’m feeling awful again!
Got mini review with meno doctor on Tuesday see how I’m getting on and a gp phone week after about other stuff but this is how it goes…
Had a v emotional and busy week and hadn’t been too bad til couple days ago in evening felt the heart rate and jitters again hardly slept all night, then night after slept really well and had v busy day yesterday and In evening started the jittery and heart thingy again. Had a bath not too hot and had chance to cool down before bed, feeling panicky shaky and heart thing fluttering again, then sometimes will get chills instead of the flashes! Am using sweet bee magnesium butter on soles of feet nightly too . Had thyroid bloods checked in November and was just above the lower end of normal so they said it was fine?! So is it thyroid or peri that this is do any of you think? Have come downstairs to change scenery.
Advice would,be great please x

Or is it my pre diabetes playing me tricks?
-
Or just good old anxiety
-
It seems you are being well looked after medic wise so I would say it's good old anxiety.
If you are prediabetic take a zinc supplement, it reversed mine when I was convinced I had gone over to being fully diabetic, that's what anxiety does!
-
So continuing on…
Had 3 week review last week all was ok apart from had just started a bleed like a withdrawal colour bleed she not worried,I’m on a continuous I think as 2 mini pills daily and gel, last period was probably October time but because I mucked myself up with stop starting pill all time hard to say what cycle was. Anyway this is about day 12 now and it’s turned more like a normal period! My review for 3m need to be in April, does this happen to others and will it stop before April? I still feel I have a 2 week anxiety cycle so dunno if this is my cycle trying to settle from the muck up or if it’s cos 6 weeks of hrt? Confused
-
Anyone please? It’s worrying me and wondered if other people have it
-
