Does anyone use Coconut oil as a lubricant or to help with va

There are loads of threads regarding this - if U search you will find some that may help.
'sylc' and 'yes' moisturisers have good reports, as well as 'ovestin' on the outer labia. Let us know how you get on.

Coconut oil will not help with VA as only localised oestrogen will tackle that. VA is caused by lack of oestrogen and this needs to be replaced. I have read it is safe to use as lube though. :)

I have used it in the past, but found other products, especially Yes VM and Sylk, to be more effective. That was a long time ago and I no longer need moisturiser after after prolonged use of local oestrogen. You need to use local E for quite some time, and at a high enough dose, to get comfortable again. Emollients such as Epaderm, Hydromol or 50:50 ointment are also good at soothing the soreness and are protective against external irritation.

I would recommend YES VM.

Hello ladies.
When I had a break from all HRT and I began to experience VA symptoms I used coconut oil and found it helped for a while. However I soon moved on to other products and YES VM was the best. Eventually I returned to HRT.
Just recently I lowered my dose of Sandrena gel to a quarter of a 1mcg sachet and dryness problems returned, I then increased to half of a Sachet and the dryness resolved. This indicates to me that I do need some topical Oestrogen but not very much.
I hope this helps.
Take care ladies.
