Hi Everyone
Would be very interested to know if any of you have found a difference in the absorption and thus effectiveness of Oestrogel depending on whether it is applied to the inner thighs or upper outer arms?

Hi Pippa52,
I'm on 3 and a bit pumps of oestrogel. I put one each on my inner thighs, and the other 1 and a bit on my outer upper arms.
However if you're on 1 or two pumps, I would go for inner thighs myself, I don't know why I just feel it might be absorbed better. But that's just me, there's no science behind it at all.
I think it boils down to trial and error as everyone is different.
I hope you get on ok with the gel, I really like it xx

I use both and don't notice any difference. I'm on 4 pumps x

I think the difference for me is how I apply, rather than where! If I rub in it feels gently than if I spread.
I applied my 1 pump too late last night, and rather than make me sleep, it gave me a rush and heart palpitations!!

I used inner thighs but that was because it was too cold waiting for arms to dry. It doesn't really matter which you use, the important thing is that you do it the same each time so you get a consistent dose.
