Please can anyone explain to me the difference between Evorel sequi and Evorel 50. I have a coil fitted so that’s the progesterone bit sorted and was going to ask my GP to prescribe Evorel 50 patches. Any advice or guidance welcome please x

Evorel 50 patches are used for the first two weeks of a sequi regime then the second half of the month you use Evorel conti which is the 50 plus the progesterone. You will only need to use Evorel 50 all month as you don't need the progesterone. I'm on these as I've had a hysterectomy.

Thank you, so I’m asking for the right thing by asking for Evorel 50? X

Yes Evorel 50 is what you need… oestrogen only. The coil will act as the progesterone as long as you’ve had it for less than 5 years x

So I’ve read that you need to have been on Evorel sequi for 12 months before they will give you just 50. I take it that’s not true and I could just go straight onto Evorel 50?
No wonder I’ve called this thread confused 🤦♀️ xx

If you still have your womb then you will never just have Evorel 50 as you will always need a progesterone. In your case you have the coil to supply the progesterone. I'm not sure where you read the information about a year on sequi but it can get very confusing. How old is your coil?
