Title: Utrogestan and bladder irritation
Post by: RubyRoxy on November 22, 2022, 08:26:27 AM
I am using Utrogestan vaginally and it makes me want to wee. Will this improve with time or does the hunt for a progesterone continue?

Hi Ruby

Utrogestan is a known diuretic, I believe other progesterone’s are as well, but not absolutely sure of this.

Some possible solutions are-
It may help taking it in the morning so you’re not getting up to wee all night.
It might be your estrogen dose is slightly too low to act as a balance.
If you’re on a low’ish dose of estrogen you could try taking the Utrogestan every other day.
