Hi ladies,
My GP has recently moved me from Oestrogel to FemSeven 100 patches, I'm trying to get my first batch. I've tried 5 different pharmacies in Cardiff and none in stock. Lloyds twice tried to order them in, but got nothing. Boots also tried to order in and no joy there either. I realise I can ask the gp for a different patch, but we went with this one as I have manual dexterity issues and FemSeven only has to be changed once a week, which would be less fiddly for me.
Just wondered if others are having trouble getting hold of FemSeven and if so, do we know why?

Have you looked at the British Menopause Society website? They usually put updates on regarding supply issues.
Hope you get sorted soon.

Hi, thanks for replying- I did remember after I posted that I could check the BMS re shortages, so I had a look and there are no supply issues according to the manufacturer. So I'm stumped as to why I can't get any!
Going to tell my GP surgery this morning about the problem, and ask for an alternative.
