Title: Post Hysteroscopy bleeding and restarting HRT

Hi everyone.  I had a Hysteroscopy and biopsy 2 days ago - I was taking HRT up until 2 days before the procedure. 

I’m on a cyclical prescription of progesterone 11 days a month and was half way through this cycle which I take vaginally. 

I’m now bleeding after the procedure and I don’t know whether to keep taking the progesterone or wait until the bleeding stops?

I’m back on the oestrogen daily.

Just to clarify - the gynaecologist told me to stop HRT before the procedure which was carried out under General anaesthetic.  The bleeding feels more like a period today so I don’t know whether to treat it as day 1 of a new cycle and delay progesterone until day 16 as usual or continue on progesterone as I was halfway through my monthly 11 days of progesterone intake but had stopped for the procedure.  I’m so confused 🤦🏼‍♀️.   

Any advice most appreciated.
