Title: Progesterone vaginally
Post by: Mummytron on November 10, 2022, 08:52:07 PM
Could someone give me information about this please? I've seen it mentioned a lot on here and I'm wondering if its for me. Does it give less symptoms?

For most women, yes. Exactly the same amount and timing and push as high up as you can. Gp said it “was better for bleeding” to me, it’s just not been licenced here yet. The BMS do say to use like this on their website.

I don’t notice any side effects. One woman I spoke to in a forum said she did feel benefit from it (helped feel calm and sleep) even vaginally so I think there’s potential to have issues if you’re hugely negatively sensitive. I find it hard to wake in the morning and feel rather groggy if I take orally so use vaginally x12 days out of 4 weeks.
