I have white coat syndrome so have bought myself a blood pressure testing kit.
I seem to have noticed that when my hormones feel balanced, my readings are well within range. When my hormones aren’t balanced, my blood pressure is super high. Sometimes I even feel that agitated that I can’t even relax to take a deep breath!
Does anyone else get this? I suppose being peri still isn’t helping.

One thing that DH was told - take 3 readings B4 eating at the same time each morning. He jotted down his readings to give to the GP every 3 months. He is the calmest man you R likely to find - until he's in the surgery.

Thank CLKD. Hope you are well?
That’s a good idea about taking a few readings so will give that a try.

Leaving a few moments between each enables the heart rate to drop.

Mine are bouncing around all over the place! My GP practice told me to take two readings and discard first. May be worth doing them over a week and then averaging them as that is what GP does with mine.
I am now so anxious to get good readings, i have appointment next week for review of BP, that i have seemed to have developed WCS using my home monitor...grrr!

Whenever I feel my BP is raised I go onto YouTube, put my feet up in a quiet room, pop my ear buds in and go into "hypertension and hypnosis close your eyes". It's a 25 minute session that I have used several times. No idea how it works, but it works for me. ;)
