Title: Dandruff on legs after upping oestrogen again
Post by: Hopeful2 on November 04, 2022, 06:13:31 PM
Hello ladies.

Has anyone else experienced this please?

Never had it before I started HRT. Dandruff on legs came today again when I used a tiny bit more oestrogel last night. I've had it before only when I started different HRT so its a reaction to the oestrogen. Disappointed because I've been reasonably ok on 1 pump, but I know I need more. Will go back to 1 pump again tonight as scared again. Thank you for your support.

Hello Hopeful. Do you mean dry and flaky skin? Menopause causes skin to dry out so you may need to moisturise more often then you did before. Luckily this reaction is not as bad as the other ones you have had previously. There is no need to be scared. Dry skin is common.

I can understand you panicked as you have had so many bad experiences. Maybe you could get an emollient for eczema as they are very gentle and moisturising.

My pleasure. :)
