Title: Pregabalin
Post by: EmC on November 01, 2022, 09:46:14 PM
Just been prescribed this tablet to try and help with high anxiety episodes that I’m struggling with at the moment.
Has anyone got any experience of using it they can share?
Did it help, any side effects to be aware of etc?

Hi Emc,
I am prescribed pregabalin for nerve pain and also GAD,
Yes it can help with anxiety but you have to give it time to build up, I think side effects will be different for everyone, mine were initially slight drowsiness, what strength have you been prescribed?

Yes I took it for anxiety, it really helped for a while, but I found it difficult sometimes finding words, which is a known side effect, and had to stop taking it as I talk a lot for my job.  It also helps you sleep.
