Title: First few days of gel, side effects?

I'm on day 4 of estrogen gel and feel ok but a few funny feelings. I have been unwell so it could be that.
Itchy eye, mild headache and just a bit of an out of body experience!
Anyone offer any of their experiences?

Hi Mummytron

Some women do get headaches initially after increasing oestrogen but this should settle. Also going from a very low dose to a high dose - maybe can sometimes lead to feelong spaced out? Sometimes I feel this a few hours after adding new patch - and I forget that may be the reason. For me not at all unpleasant - but somehow energised

Hope it settles and the HRT works for you

Thank you, yes thats exactly how I feel. Mild headache, bit spaced out but energised too.
