Hi
This is my 1st post and was wondering if anyone has experience of undergoing a total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH) resulting in their HRT being less effective ?
I have been on Evorel 50 for a good number of years with no issues and just sailing along nicely. I had a TAH 6 months ago and lately I feel my anxiety, waking up between 2/3 am each night, lack of motivation to get involved etc ... things were great but now as if hrt not working. Thought I'd ask before I go back to GP and discuss amendments 😱😱😱
Thanks
Lynn

I’d definitely pop back and have a chat with your GP. :)
Fluctuations do happen anyway and I’m guessing surgery is stressful for your body so it makes sense that levels could be affected.

possibly you need more estrogen. I am weighing up my options about having a hysterectomy, any advise?
