Hi, I was on Evorel conti patches, but had a lot of bleeding on these, so have recently been changed to Evorel 50 patch and Utrogestan100 tablets which I take daily at night. I left 3 days before I started on the new regime and actually stopped bleeding 😁 To start with have been fine, but now after 14 days have started the bleeding again, not heavy, but just a nuisance, plus the feeling of period pain. Bloating etc. I don’t want to give up and have been told that this is an excellent combination, but getting very despondent with the bleeding. Has anyone else experienced this and did it settle. Thank you

Hi were you on Evorel Conti or Evorel Sequi ? x
-
I had bleeding on utrogestan. I got a mirena coil fitted 5 months ago. No more bleeding! 👍
It might settle, it might not. Utrogestan is notoriously rubbish at controlling bleeding. That said, for some women, it works very well.

Are you peri or meno? Have you had a scan to rule out any other cause?

Should have added post menapausal for about 8 years now - I am 59 years old.
I was on Evorel Sequi, then told this was a mistake and put onto Evorel Conti. Now the combination changed again. Only reason I feel more confident, except for the bleeding, is that my sister has been put on same combination and her doctor specialises in female health.

Hi it is an excellent combination and you may just need to give it time. How long were you on Evorel Conti ?
-
Conti sequi for 3 months, this then changed to Conti, then after a month due to constant bleeding, changed to new regime of HRT

Hi you’ll need to give it 3-6 months to settle x

Thank you. Fingers crossed. 😁
