I have been reading through so many of your posts to see if any can help put my mind at rest (big ask during this time I know)
I am 58 and post meno for 7 years but this year my symptoms went through the roof.
Anxiety was the worse and loosing all confidence in myself completely!
Like a shell of my previous persona.
I contacted my Dr as I had never even thought of trying HRT as 7 years ago I was offered antidepressants, which I declined!
But I was willing to try anything a couple of weeks ago!
I was given Evorel Conti and put my first one on a week ago.
Oh my the pain in my tummy is painful and it feels like my insides are bruised.
Please has anyone else experienced this?
I’m considering stopping them?
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated 🫶

Hello Marley
Im sure one of the experienced ladies on the forum will be able to help you.
Ive been post meno for a few years and 4 months ago i had bad symptoms as well. I posted on here and the ladies put my mind at ease to go and try HRT. Ive been on Evorel conti for 2 weeks now, and i am starting to feel better than i did, but yes i do have stomach pain in the morning, the pain is like period pain but without the period but after a little while it does disappear for me. How long does yours last for?

Hello Pauline67
Thank you so much for your reply.
I really appreciate it.
Mine lasts all day unfortunately and is painful to even sit down sometimes.
It is like period pain but on steroids!!
It just feels a bit scary.
Thank you again Pauline67 X

Hello Marley and welcome. I am sorry to hear you have such bad pain. I would stop taking this and ask to try something else. If the pain is this bad then it is just too much to have to put up with this.

Certainly stop the product if it's causing side effects of pain.
Have you had regular smear tests? I think that after a certain age they have to be requested?
Has the regime caused constipation which can cause pain and discomfort?
:welcomemm:

It could be the progesterone on the Evorel Conti that doesn’t suit you. x

Hello Dotty
Thank you too for your response.
You maybe right but I just reached out to my Dr and she said the hormones can cause these issues and to continue for a while and if they do not settle, to make an appointment.
I’ll see how I feel in another week and then make a decision.
Hope that you are doing well and thank youso much Dotty X
