Title: Evorel Conti ... symptoms returned
Post by: AnneS on October 18, 2022, 07:30:35 AM
Hi
I've been on Evorel Conti patches since last November.... despite some issues ( eg breakthrough bleeding ) I did feel better but now feel many of my symptoms have returned ... anxiety , insomnia, light headedness , low mood ect
Has anyone else experienced this ? Any advice would be really appreciated!!!
Many thanks x

Hi it sounds like you need more oestrogen than the Evorel Conti is giving you. Could be that your own reserves of oestrogen have dropped . x

Thanks Dotty for your reply !
I wonder what my options would be .... my GP is not very clued up on hrt ! I was on anti depressants for  over 2 years before I managed to get onto the patches 😫. It's such a minefield and very difficult to know what you should be asking for ( especially when you're not in a good place mentally ! ) xx

Hello AnneS.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with your query but your problem is not unique.

Many times ladies have complained that their HRT has stopped working and their symptoms have returned. I believe that increasing the dose of Oestrogen is the first thing to try to improve the situation. Others find that using a different type of HRT is successful.

Hopefully other ladies will be along soon to advise you and I wish you well.

Take care.

K.

Thankyou Kathleen... hearing I'm not the only one ( at a time when you feel you are ! ) is a big support ! X

Hi your options are oestrogen in a gel or oestrogen in a patch . Both of these need a progesterone .... Utrogestan or Mirena coil or Provera. x
