Title: where do you get your prescription for Androfeme from?
Post by: flaxhigh on October 08, 2022, 07:27:01 PM
Hi
I currently get prescribed Androfeme from the London Menopause and PMT clinic in Wimpole street, London But they are hard to get hold of for repeat prescriptions and it costs a bomb to get a repeat prescription (usually only for 2 tubes).

Has anyone got a place which will prescribe a decent amount of tubes so I don't have to keep paying for private prescriptions. My NHS GP needless to say won't prescribe testosterone (even though the private gynae I saw wrote to her with details of the equivalent that she could prescribe on the NHS. She pointblank refused.....so I just pay through the nose for it).

Thanks!

Hi

You can only get it from a private specialist. I’ve tried online pharmacies and they won’t give you it without a private prescription.

There was talk of it becoming available on the NHS but I haven’t heard anything recently.

What about getting referred to an NHS Meno clinic? They would be able to prescribe NHS equivalent ie testim etc
