Title: Spotting on continuous HRT

I’ve been on Evorel 25 and Utrogestan 100mg for 6 months. I’m 56 and I’m still having spotting every couple of weeks. How long do I give it before I need to worry?

Have you asked your GP? I was using vaginal estrogen and had to stop when I started blood spotting, had an examination and scan before GP would prescribe again.

I’ve got an appointment in 3 weeks to see my GP. I really don’t want to stop taking it, so am really apprehensive.

I didn'twant to stop either but my GP told me to straight away.  Everything turned out to be ok but i didn't start using it for another 9 months.  Im waiting now to see if i get blood spotting again.
