Title: Can testosterone increase anxiety?
Post by: Ruballoo on October 01, 2022, 07:19:41 PM
Hi there

I am 58 and have been having 3 pumps oestrogel and have had a mirena for past couple of years. 2 months ago I was prescribed Androfemme 0.5ml at the Newson Clinic as I had no “get up and go “ and was having joint stiffness especially in the mornings. These have definitely improved but this week I have experienced increased anxiety and had a panic attack for the 1st time on Tuesday which was very frightening . I can’t think of any particular reason for this. I am due to have my testosterone levels checked in next couple of weeks before my review at the end of the month, they didn’t check them before starting the Androfemme. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced increased anxiety on testosterone and whether I should reduce it to see if things improve? Thank you
