Title: Switching to continuous from sequential HRT
Post by: JC06 on September 28, 2022, 01:18:41 PM
Hi. I'm 53 & have been on combined sequential HRT for several years & now want to change to continuous to avoid the bleed. I'm on evorel 75 patch & have been taking 200mg utrogestan days 15-26. My GP has agreed I should commence continuous regime - can I start this on any date of my "cycle"? Yesterday was day 15 & I took 100mg of utro rather than 200 with a view to taking 100mg daily going forward. I'm also confused as to whether I should have a 3 day break of utro as NICE guidelines say to take daily but dosage note from chemist said to take for 25 days?

I’ve asked this question but not received a reply yet, I read that you should have your bleed and then start continuous so I will do that
