Title: Starting utrogestan help
Post by: Harebell on September 23, 2022, 12:45:48 PM
Hi

I am on evorel 50 patches and am due to start utrogestan (was previously using evorel sequi)

I am thinking of starting it cyclically to see how it goes and still have a bleed before I start taking it every day.

Anyone have any experience. What to expect. I don’t want to turn up for work feeling dreadful.

I think I need 12 days of 200 mg. When would I expect to bleed?

Many thanks
Harebell

That’s exactly what I use, Evorel 50 and utrogestan orally, 2 capsules before bed for 12 days.
I think people react to the utrogestan in different ways. My “period”:usually starts on day 8 of taking the utrogestan. Never waits until a few days after the utrogestan part of the cycle. My periods however are very light now.
Something I did find though ( you may be more organised than me) coming from gel to patch, was that I kept forgetting to take the utrogestan so I now take it from day 1 of a new box of patches to keep it regular
