Title: Evoril Conti bleeding after 7 months
Post by: Khm on September 21, 2022, 12:25:48 PM
Evorel conti felt like the best thing ever after a couple of months settling down.  Sleeping better, no hot flushes and doing well but this weekend feel like I have a period, had investigations and hysteroscopy before for a bleed with everything fine.   Back round the loop again I go waiting on scan apt.   Anyone else had same experience with conti?

Did you start Evorel Conti several years after the end of periods?  My bleeding with Conti didn't start until I had been on full patches for 3 to 4 months. Then suddenly it was like a full 7 day period. I had to have a hysteroscopy the following year but nothing was found. The bleeding continued for several months but gradually getting lighter until it was insignificant.

Hi yes started a couple of years after last period.  I’m not hugely worried as I as all checked out last year so fingers crossed scan is ok, but just annoying that conti working well for me until now. Thank u for responding 😀

Hi, yes I can relate, been on Evorel conti for 5 weeks & ironically today I've got some light bleeding started. I've also been on the same route of scan etc as you a couple of years ago so can sympathise! Up until today the patches have worked well for me too. I'm hoping it's a blip Xx

I have been on everol conti for 12 months, started to bleed after about 6 months like a normal period, (not had a period for 2 years) but stopped after 3 months. Unfortunately my insomnia is back and flushes so my GP has swapped me to the everol sequi, but when I read up on this, it's for woman who still have periods which I haven't for 2 years....totally confused  :-\

Hi I’m living in Australia and on a nearly identical conti patch ESTRADIOL/NORETHISTERONE ACETATE (ESTALIS CONTINUOUS 50/140) I don’t think we get Evorel here only offered Estalis Conti patch on our PBS scheme. Anyway, I’ve been on it for 15 days now and three days ago started a light period, which has now progressed into a heavy constant period which is like day two when I was in my 30/40s! I have no other side effects, no period pain just the constant flow…
I read online and they said it should settle down in a month, but I’m not sure how much longer I can take! I’m now waking at 3am with slight hot flushes and a period! Maybe this is a normal settling of the hrt but I am concerned as I’m also anaemic! Otherwise I feel much better since before hrt, feel like myself again, no more joint pain, no dry skin and mood has improved, with only very mild hot flushes every 3rd night or so. I’m waiting for a menopause GP appointment for late November as my regular GP seems to have no knowledge of HRT.
Hope things improve for you soon!  ;D
