Perhaps more pertinent for us on here……”How were your menopausal years?”
I think it would (genuinely) be interesting to know if these two remarkable ladies had any particular struggles during those times.
-
Menopausal questions definitely.
DH used to be a police sergeant whose patch included a very simple bungalow, in the grounds of a country estate, where the queen and duke of Edinburgh used to stay. They looked after themselves and spent time with their horses. DH was given a tour round by a security officer. Definitely away from it all. Also visited the Royal Britannia in leith, Edinburgh after it was decommissioned. Their bedroom was very simple. I don’t get the impression that they craved glamour, but accepted it as part of the ‘job’.

I always think those questions to myself anyway, with people who are famous.
I did wonder if any of those in the royal family are on HRT.
Should be HRH …..her royal hormones. ;D

Also: how do they all cope with pre-event anxiety :-\ :'( ... knowing that I couldn't go to the loo would finish any idea of going!
-
And for me I would need to go as soon as it was too late.

I can confirm that Prof Studd did indeed have a photograph of him shaking hands with our late Queen on his wall!
