Hi all. I've been taking hrt for 3 months now, patches and pills, the usual 2 weeks on and off with 2 patches a week. I had my period for a week, it faded away but was still there enough for a pad a day for a week, now I'm on 3rd week and bleeding is heavier and continuing. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks all x

Yes! I bled for several weeks at a time. I’m supposed to have a withdrawal bleed but it I never at the time it is supposed to be. I’ve had one biopsy about 18 months ago which was normal. I’m having a coil fitted in just over a week to deal with the heavy bleeding. They want to do another biopsy but won’t give me a general even though I asked. Apparently I can manage on gas and air! After the last one I’m not keen! I don’t think bleeding is that unusual but it should always be checked out just in case.
