Title: Sir Winston Churchill
Post by: CLKD on September 12, 2022, 08:15:11 AM
I remember the huge outpouring in the National Press when Winston died, in a chest in the loft I have press cuttings.  All in black and white.  Even the dockers lowered their cranes as the boat went past on the Thames  :'(

It hasn't been though  :-\.  Wars have continued through out her Reign, however; there was a sense of peace and security when she was out and about at work.
