Title: Estraderm Patch
Post by: discogirl on September 09, 2022, 06:41:28 AM
Hi all,

I've been on HRT for 16 days, going ok so far.

I'm on 25mcg estraderm and 100mg utrogestan orally.

I was just wondering, how will I know when/if to increase my estrogen patch to 50mcg?

Thanks x

I would say, when you have symptoms returning. For me it was itchy skin and aching bones.

Ah, right; for me it's insomnia and anxiety.

Thanks for that Flossieteacake xx

Hi discogirl
I started on everol 25 and the same utrogestan as you. My insomnia resolved within the first 3 weeks or so but I felt my anxiety lingering.
At my 3 month review, it was increased to evorel 50 patch and the anxiety/palpitations pretty much disappeared. I felt the effect very quickly too..

Hi Songbird,

My sleep pattern is far from perfect, but much better than it was.

I, like you, have a feeling that at my three monthly review I will need to go up to 50 mcg patch.

Thanks so much xx
