Title: Is my birth control too high?
Post by: Vicky81 on September 03, 2022, 08:35:13 AM
Hello.
Been on marvelon 30mcg/150mcg for some time now.
I'm irritable, teary, moody and ever so fatigued.

Do you ladies think this is too high in oestrogen for me? I feel bad.

Xx

It could also be low Estrogen.  I went back on the combined pill for a bit to see if it would help my menopause symptoms but it didn’t help at all, it must work differently to normal HRT.  Your symptoms are what I get from low Estrogen and the shaking is when I’m fluctuating. Have you tried body identical HRT?

Hi floo
Very grateful for your reply.

Yes I tried the gel and patches..  the gel did nothing and the patches gave Mr such bad dizzy spells, jittery feel, light headed.

Yeah I was guessing it's either low oestrogen and fluctuations?
I feel so PMS like a teenager......lol.
Not sure if to leave it longer.....or go up to cilest which is 35mcg? Xx

Funny you know....when i was on the pill break waiting for my bleed I got up on the Tuesday and suddenly felt great....went to work felt so good....didn't know why...then at 1pm I got my bleed.....so I'm unsure if that was due to a rise in oestrogen?? To start the shedding of womb process? What you think?

Day after....boom...back to narky...tired out ...
