I'm sure that I began a similar thread earlier in the year :-\ however:
We used to buy our white sugar in bulk which would last 12-14 months. Then we noticed that it's Cane from the West Indies, why aren't shops selling home grown sugar >:(
Less air miles, less packeging for transport etc. Off to find some Silver Spoon. Having been raised in an area 15 miles from a beet processing factory, I really ought to seek English produce as much as possible.

I only buy beet sugar. Co-op sell it still.

Tnx. Our village shop (co-op) don't. Costco don't. Apparently the main supermarkets do ...........
