Hi all, recently changed my HRT regime to Sandrena & Utrogestan, as prescribed by a menopause specialist, unfortunately I do not have regular access to her for queries etc and am experiencing lots of dizziness and headaches, period type pain, painful swollen breast amongst other issues, which I suspect must be side effects of this new medication. I’m willing to persevere if I thought these would settle down but wonder how long I can expect them to continue before my body gets used to them and if other people have had this same problem to start with and what was the outcome? I’m having g to miss work because of the dizziness

Hi Caro,I; I started 0.5 Sandrena 3 days ago... Not sure if its related but I'm experiencing light headedness, whooziness etc. and feeling really faint at times. However, prior to the Sandrena I was having major problems with dry eyes and sinusitis which were causing similar feelings - felt like having a virus but I don't. Off work too. So not sure if its the Sandrena or not. Not getting the period pain or breast issues.. Not started urtrogestan yet so cannot be that for me. How long have you been on the new regime?

Only 2-3 weeks but decided yesterday to apply the gel at night (started off using in the morning), had some terrible headaches overnight but so far today have only had a mild bout of light headedness rather than the intense dizziness I’d been having so will continue on this for a few days to see if it stays more stable for me. The virus feeling sounds quite common from the other reading I’ve done on this so hope it settles for you too soon!
