Hi,
I'm 54 and 1 week post Laparascopic full hysterectomy. I am 3yrs in to my Menopause but had 4 serious bouts of bleeding in the last year.  So far so good and off any pain meds. Taking it easy as told and pleasantly surprised at how good I feel. Getting great support from the Hospital Gyne Team who check up on me weekly.
I had already been on HRT Gel for 3yrs prior to this along with progesterone with only good outcomes.

Looking forward to learning more about my post Hysterectomy future and chatting to you all.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Glad you are feeling so well after your op,have to say,having a hysterectomy was the best thing I ever did,hope it's the same for you.
Feel free to ask pretty much anything on here or use the search box  :)

Thanks, I hope so too and several other women I have spoken too all feel the same.

Hi Hill Wimp,

I joined in July of this year and this site has been invaluable for me.

Lots of really good advice from some lovely ladies.
