Hi,
I’m after some advice as I’m put a few posts on here and also had brilliant advice and support.
I’ve new to HRT and the clinic I’m under advised I start with Estrogen gel but delayed the progesterone tablets.
I posted about this on here and many were concerned about this advice (I even checked the letter, it was correct) worried about this advice I brought my second consultation forward and expressed my concerns.
The problem is, I am overdue on my August period, and been told to wait a few more days to see if I bleed and then take the tablets on 14th day after I start the bleed.
My question is, should I just start the tablets now, as my period may never come?,
If I do start taking them now, do I take them for two weeks then two weeks off. My whole body is changing and periods are very unpredictable now.
Thank you.

Hi Peanut
Don’t have the knowledge or answers you’re looking for as I’m way post menopause.
But have posted now too wish you well and to keep your great thread current. That way hopefully you’ll get more responses.
What clinic are you with and is this you first hrt experience?

If your periods are very irregular already, you are probably not ovulating and so they are probably not proper periods - more anovulatory bleeds, without a strong cycle to them.
In that case, it should be easier for the HRT to override your body. If you start it now and things get out of sync, after a few cycles to see if it will sync up, you can change a few things...
