Title: Serenity cream
Post by: Catherineelford on August 03, 2022, 06:40:12 AM
Hi all , hope your ok

I’ve had a terrible time of late stopped my periods 18 months ago ! Love that bit ❤️
But now my skin reacts to sun / heat it’s unbearable - like I’ve fallen into stinging nettle
I gather it’s low oestrogen
Tried patches gel tablets all had side effects
So I’ve gone for serenity cream - St. John’s wort and sage I’m desperate!
It’s not arrived yet any thoughts / reviews

There are many types of HRT that will help a lack of oestrogen.  How long did U trial each one for, it may take 3-6 months to notice benefit.

R U on any medication?  Some can cause an adverse reaction to sunshine.

Browse round.  Make notes.   Let us know how you get on.

Hi Catherine, l have tried Serenity cream in the past, when l had to have an enforced break from my hrt tablets, but l didn't notice any benefit unfortunately. It contains progesterone not oestrogen so can't see it would be much help to you if it's lack of oestrogen that's causing your issues.
