Title: Thought I'd gotten off with side effects
Post by: Crow Lady on July 30, 2022, 07:49:34 AM
Recently had my first change of meds. I only started hrt 3 months ago. Estraderm 50mg patches and utrogestan 100mg. Didn't feel horrid from the side effects. Also didn't really feel any of the benefits. Couple of weeks ago doc upped the Estraderm patch to 75mg. I feel grotty, like when you know you're coming down with cold. And what the hell is this barking cough thats keeping everyone awake?? Can it cause a cough?  Doc has Recently  prescribed testosterone gel ( apparently my testosterone levels are undetectable ) but I haven't started it as I'm still unable to find any, national shortages. Am I going to feel even worse when I start that ?! Thought I'd been lucky, no side effects! Lol. I should have known.

Hi
Have you tested for covid? Not really heard about HRT causing coughing but someone else may come along with more info.

Hi there, according to Mayclinic, cough is a side effect of Oestradiol.
