Title: Progesterone and Oestrogel

Just starting taking the above yesterday, do you need to take them both at the same time ! The Progesterone is on an empty stomach at bedtime, the oestrogen once applied needs to dry for an hour before contact with clothes etc,, Also any pros or cons that I may encounter, many thanks , Carolyn

Hi I use the Oestrogel in a morning and it dries within 5 -10 mins. You have to wait an hour before showering, swimming or applying suncream, but not putting clothes on.

Progesterone at night before bed. x

It needs to be dry before putting clothes on, around 5-10 minutes.

Thanks ladies, feel happy now, I was panicking I’d taken the 1st day wrong ,,how long should it take to kick in,, and finally have you had any major issues with it,, I’ve been on Kliovance for a few years , it’s quite scary changing.

Flushes usually go within a couple of weeks, other symptoms can take longer. My anxiety and insomnia took 3 months. This is assuming you started from no hrt.

I have literally went from Kliovance to the new HRT,, my horrible sweats have virtually gone ,, so far so good 🙏
