Hi I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me??? I started taking Femoston 1/10 just over 2 months ago and I have had a period every 2 weeks with it. Surely this isn't normal?? Im going to ring my doctors this week about it... if I can get through to them!!!
Has this happened to anyone else???
Thank you

Unpredictable bleeding is very normal in the first few months of starting HRT. It should settle down. If it hasn't settled after 6 months, or if the bleeding is very heavy, see the doctor.

Thank you for replying..I really wasn't sure if it was ok or not.
I'll give it more time and see how I get on.
Thanks :)

I was on the same and used to bleed sometimes, I was told it can happen in the first 6 months as your body gets used to it x

Thank you 😊. I'll give it more time and see how I get on x

Just be mindful that the bleeding might not settle.
Mine didn’t, not with any HRT. In the end, gynae recommended a coil and I had no choice but to get one fitted.
Gynae nurse said that some ladies “ just bleed “ :(
Currently spotting, but not bleeding.
Best of luck. 🤞

I have now taken another period. It seems to be every 2 weeks. I'm nearly in the middle of my 3rd pack so I will be speaking with my doctor soon and I will see what she says. Very annoying :'(

Hi, do you have an update on this? I hope it has settled for you. I have recently been bleeding every 2 weeks with Femoston, but I have been on it for almost 4 years :(
