Hi all,
I’m on a high dose of oestrogel 5 pumps due to poor absorption, apparently. When I’m not on the Utro phase…..I find I’m crashing after applying 5 pumps in the morning (nausea, feel very unwell). I take my thyroid medication in the morning too & I think it could be hormone overload all at once? I did try split dosing because of this 3 in the morning, 2 in the evening but felt flat all day and felt desperate for more oestrogen. Having said that, it looks like when I tried split dosing….I was on the Utro phase & I take 200mg vaginally. I wonder if it need to apply all 5 pumps in the morning when on Utro but split dose when on oestrogel only?
Does anyone else have this issue? Any thoughts or advice really appreciated :)

Hi BK
I think split dose a good idea, I’m trialing that at the moment.
I think it will take time to adjust.
You need to go by symptoms. The serum test shows what’s in the blood (which the body likes to maintain in homeostasis), not what’s in the tissues and cells.
Less is more I find…. X

I have tried it both ways twice now and for me definitely split dose suits me best. Sleep is better this way and I feel calmer.
