Hi there,
Just wondering, does anyone know if it’s best to apply oestrogel before a hormone test or is it best to time it so it’s just before you’d normally apply it? I know this is a bit of a daft question but I know first hand that the timing of the test greatly influences the oestrogen level in the test result …….so thinking about it, perhaps ideal to have the test after application so it measures your levels as they are being replaced? I’ll be getting my testosterone level checked at the same time so it will be morning and this is the main reason for the test……just wondering what other ladies do? I’m not supplementing with testosterone currently.

Hi, I test fairly regularly and dont apply oestrogel on the morning of the test but apply it when I get home - I do this because I read that you shoukd be about 24 hours estrogel free when testing (I forget the source but I believe it was a reliable one)
