Title: What would you do
Post by: Weeloz on June 09, 2022, 09:52:20 AM
I was on vagirux 2 times a week dose . I ran out and couldn't get an appointment to get another prescription . That was a week and a half ago since I last took it . Managed to get a prescription but not sure wether to start from scratch and day everyday for 2weeks . Can't get to speak to the doc without an appointment which is impossible to get at my surgery . I asked the receptionist is she could ask the doctors but she said no I must make an appointment . Easier said than done 😡

Hello Weeloz. Welcome to the forum. I would personally use it daily until your symptoms improve. I personally use my treatment every single day as my symptoms are so bad.

I hope you can ask for it to be on repeat prescription. Vaginal atrophy treatment is ongoing. Pity your GP surgery do not have an option to send them messages online. With mine I can send a message through their website.

I write mine a letter if I can’t get an appointment. That always seems to work! x

Morning.  I use 'ovestin' regularly, if symptoms niggle I put an extra dose in during the afternoon, then every night until feelings ease.

Write a letter as suggested asking for the product to be on repeat.  It mayB that the GP wanted to see you after the 1st treatments to see if it helped.

If you have the need2P feelings, mayB take 'nurofen' regularly to ease that nip as the spincter shuts off the urine flow.  Works for me.
