Hi all,
This is my first time here and I'm looking forward to this being the start of something positive out of the DELIGHT which is menopause. I hope everyone is doing okay.
I'm 54 and have taken HRT for 4.5 years with varying degrees of success and my current prescription can't be fulfilled so that's a drag.
Wishing you all a lovely evening,
Samantha x

Hello and welcome!
Is it the HRT shortages affecting your prescription? :(

Hi,
Yes it is, and the pharmacist told me today that FemSeven patches aren't currently being produced so there's no real light at the end of the tunnel atm.
-
Oh no. Well they can offer you an alternative, would you be willing to change to something else? Which one are you on? I can see they’re available on the international pharmacy site with a Prescription
-
Thanks for your response. Yes,the alternative I'm using is Evorel Conti which had become ineffective before I moved to FemSeven.
What's (or what is the URL for the international pharmacy please?

https://www.theindependentpharmacy.co.uk/menopause-hrt
This is the page for HRT.

Also this is the page to check availability, I’m not sure you have been given the right info

Hello Samantha, I'm also in Lancashire, but not sunny at all today. Also the same age but I'm really new to the HRT and put my first patch on today. Feel like it's some kind of celebration at the moment ;D

Hello! The sun is shining here today, I hope it is for you too?
How are you doing with your HRT?
-
Yes sun definitely shining today. Have been dreading any hot weather with the flushes and night sweats so these few days should be a good test. So far have been okay. The flushes seem to have greatly reduced - not gone but it is really early days. I'm not suffering any side effects yet so on the whole it's positive. Have you managed to get your prescription fulfilled?
One thing I would like some tips on is the placement of the patch and getting it to sick for the 3/4 days. I've put mine on the side on my thigh but after a couple of days now it's all creased up and the corners are unstuck. Was going to have a bath later and there is no way it will survive that! Does it still work properly if all of the patch isn't stuck to the skin?
