Title: Libido/sex drive

Good morning all .
Has anyone lost their libido/sex drive and did it ever return? if so what if any meds helped to
I am post menopause  I think as I have that a period in 4 years

Hi Weeloz, I think it can be related to stress and depression as well as hormones.  However, there are a few threads on here about testosterone that would definitely be worth you checking out.  Lots of great info and links to external sources too.

Hi Weeloz it’s very common to lose it around menopause and is directly related to falling hormone levels.

It didn’t return for me until I started supplementing testosterone and that has improved it somewhat.

Thank you I am on patches since Dec  but have found no difference

No you need the testosterone to do that x

Hi Weeloz. I agree with perinowpost. If you are lucky you will have a GP who will prescribe it but if not you will need to have an appointment with a private meno specialist. You can ask to be referred to a. NHS menopause clinic although they wouldn't prescribe it for me either when I was attending their clinic in Oxford.
